You might be a bit surprised to find red letterboxes and phone booths here, as it shows the relics of the British legacy… although with all these rulers in there past, you find true Maltese here and language mixed with English.
Valletta the capital, established in the 1500’s and now an amazing walled city to explore only 1km by 600 metres. Founded as a “city built by gentlemen for gentlemen”, as UNESCO has also named Valetta a World Heritage Site calling it “one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world”.
